Global Housing Foundation is looking to partner with countries where there is a need for workforce housing and with companies who would like to participate with our mission. We offer several ways to become involved:
Pay-It-Forward Partner Program
With our “Pay-It-Forward Partner Program,” philanthropic organizations and private sector individuals fund the initial cost of homes such as construction financing. Upon the completion of the home, GHF-UN preapproved local banks provide individual home financing. The GHF advances are then returned to GHF for the purpose of funding the construction of another GHF-UN home. In this manner, the Pay-It-Forward funding acts as seed money for the next home to be constructed.
Developer Partner Program:
The “Developer Partner Program” is tailored around the special needs of real estate developers and is specifically designed to deliver project benefits and enhancements that directly transfer into value-added components for housing projects.
The social and environmental benefits are enormous. There may be no greater contribution to society than to transform an individual or family from being part of the problem into becoming part of the solution. Building financial equity through home ownership produces a household that contributes to the community.
Incorporating workforce housing into real estate developments delivers the results including: Added Security, Less Commuter Time and Expense, Increased Value Proposition for Potential Customer Prospects, Enhanced Good Will and Respect for the Entire Project.
GHF brings a global wealth of knowledge which when incorporated with the expertise of the local developer produces an environment where mistakes are minimized and success is optimized. This is an integral part of prudent corporate engagement strategy.
As a GHF Developer Partner, you can brand the project as such and therefore benefits from the positive public impact that showcases their contribution to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
GHF has the internal capacity to implement the partnership. GHF makes a commitment to provide funds toward the construction costs to augment the land component provided by the developer partner for the workforce housing units. Once the titles to the homes are transferred to the occupants, the developer and GHF are reimbursed from the proceeds provided by the local mortgage lender or preferred banking arrangement. Although the time and cost to develop these strategic partnerships is an enormous undertaking for GH, once these strategic partnerships are established, they may remain in effect for multiple projects and thus leverage partner benefits and rewards.
